Yes — there is space for one car on the driveway directly outside the cottage in front of the bins. If you have a second car, there is free on-street parking at the bottom of the lane.

Wi-Fi details are provided on arrival.

Yes. We recently upgraded the internet, so there’s full fibre to the property and a strong connection in every room of the cottage.

Look for the network named hollyhocks guest and enter the password we gave you. If you have any trouble, just drop us a message and we’ll help you get connected.

Press the power button on the TV remote, then press Home to open the main menu. Use the arrow buttons to choose what you want:

• HDMI for any connected device
• Apps such as streaming services

Press OK (in the middle of the arrows) to select. Use Volume + / − to adjust sound. Press Back or Home to return to the main menu.

If you want to use a streaming app

1. Press Home
2. Open the app you want
3. Log in with your own account if needed

If the TV is not showing anything

1. Check the TV is switched on
2. Press Home
3. Select the correct input / HDMI source

Yes, there is a barbecue available. Please let us know in advance if you’d like to use it, so we can make sure it’s clean and ready with everything you need.

General waste goes in the black bin at the back of the parking space. Spare bin bags are usually under the kitchen sink, and we’re happy to drop more off if you run out.

Leave recycling next to the kitchen bin or in the porch and we’ll sort it out after you leave. No need to separate it.

Please don’t use the green bin outside, as that’s for garden waste only.
